The band consisist of professional musicians with over 25 years experience,many of the members of the band have performed with other L.A. based bands such as El Chicano,Thee Midniters, Tierra,on varrious occasions,
Band leader ,vocalist/latin percussionist,Louie Parra,grew up on "Thee East Side Sound ,and started in garage  bands in E.L.A., in the early 70's, as a teenager   he was influenced by watching performers such as,James Brown,Wilson Picket,LiLRay,Lil Willie G & Thee Midniters,El Chicano,Tierra,War, Malo,Santana,Tito Puente,Joe Cuba,Willie Bobo,ect.,Parra's experience includes music courses at East L.A. Collage,Jazz Band,Pasadena Latin Jazz Band,with recording artist,Dr.Bobby Rodriquez,vocal coaching with Jimmy Espinoza,(THEE MIDNITERS),as well as performing with varrious local bands,Traffic Jam,Rythem Revue,Sangria,
The Mad Latins plays a wide range of music,that makes them unique, from Latin Jazz,latin rock,ol school funk,R&B,Oldies,cumbias,
